Within these last 9 years of building my music career, in the last year alone I’ve had many a proud moment for myself. One of many was in April of 2025. After many years of people asking if I’d go, I took my first completely solo trip down south to the music city: Nashville Tennessee. Read more>>

When I get the moments of comparison, it is almost frequently!! I’ve learned that the way through those moments is community. Having people who see your growth, reflect your light back to you, and remind you of your value during the hard seasons is what makes the journey truly worthwhile. Read more>>

Being a business owner isn’t easy, and there have been a couple times I’ve wondered if it’s worth it to keep going. I photographed a wedding back in 2024, I was still fairly new to wedding photography at the time and this was one of my first big weddings. I delivered the gallery and was super proud of it, but the couple hated it. Read more>>

I’m proud of building my work ethic one routine at a time. I don’t always feel like writing, but I do always show up and do my best to cross things off my list. I live in eternal optimism that work ethic and opportunity will align in ways I haven’t seen yet. Read more>>

My mom. I am very fortunate in the way that I grew up with supportive parents who believed in me even when I didn’t believe in myself. Growing up my mom always told me I had an eye for photography even when I was too young to know what tha meant. I always had a camera in my hand. Read more>>

My mom taught me the most about work by example. She worked hard every day and showed us that consistent effort always pays off in the end. She emphasized that being honest and having integrity are priceless—because your name and reputation matter more than anything. Read more>>

Can I give everything my best, even if no one ever praised me for it? My heart says yes, every time. Most of my work happens in the shadows, in those dark moments when I’m struggling to find my footing, when no one’s around to clap or cheer me on. But that’s where the real work gets done. Smart organizations and leaders are getting it totally wrong by treating management like a hardware store. They believe that if they just put enough tools in a manager’s ‘basket’ – conflict resolution, time management, clear communication, that person will magically become an effective leader. For me, the idea that I now rely on is ‘you reap what you sow.’ My naïve approach to life used to be that you could just think about something and it would happen. There was a part of me that felt I deserved good things, so I’d watch, wait, and hope but I didn’t have faith in my ability to achieve what I wanted. Read more>>
