Everyday, everyday I think about giving up. I think about never writing another rhyme, never releasing another song. Just work my life away on 9 to 5’s forever. Provide for myself and my loved ones. But then I know sooner rather than later I’d start getting angry, irritable, and sad that I gave up. Read more >>>

Yes, a few times. Transparently, I almost gave up right before recording my album. I lost everything, and felt the light in me dim out. But what saved me, was simply changing the light bulb. Hahaaa! Yes, definitely. It was very early in my art ‘career’. I was a new mom, an art school drop out, and was waiting tables to pay bills. None of the questions were as specific as I would like it to be BUT, YES! The topic of struggles and resilience got me.
