Hi Katelyn, thank you for taking the time to reflect back on your journey with us. I think our readers are in for a real treat. There is so much we can all learn from each other and so thank you again for opening up with us. Let’s get into it: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
Outside of work i really enjoy creating art, now usually I work with paint but recently I got into using these acrylic markers. Its brought me alot of joy. To have the colors at my fingertips and be able to just go create a piece of art.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Hello my name is Katelyn & I run Artwork by Katelyn on most social media platforms such as Facebook & Instagram, plus a few others. Im a creator, a painter. Ive been creating ever since I was little and I haven’t stopped since. My art journey began with just drawing/sketching. In about 2017 I started painting with acrylics and have tried many other mediums since. Currently I have a few projects going, various paintings and a few surprises. Next year I hope to achieve my goal of creating a coloring book. Things are in the works and im so excited to see where everything will take me.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Lack of communication is one of many things that can break the bonds you have with someone. What restores those bonds is connecting with others and being fully honest, communication is always key.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Thats a tough one, because I have alot of kind things to say but I’ll try to keep it simple. “You can do this” or “Stay strong” are some good ones. I actually had gotten a tattoo with that as a reminder a few years back.
Alright, so if you are open to it, let’s explore some philosophical questions that touch on your values and worldview. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Staying my true self and not doing what I think will make money or make me popular. I enjoy making super colorful artwork and thats me. I want to bring color and joy into people’s lives.

Its always an exciting day when a customer snags a piece of art. I make art because I really enjoy it. I make so much I just want to share it with the world. Anytime I make a sale I get really excited. Hey someone loves my works so much they want it in their home, to look at everyday. It really warms my heart and makes me excited and want to jump around.
