Rising Stars: Meet Twenty4Hours of Grand Rapids

Today we’d like to introduce you to Twenty4Hours.

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
We had a very unique start! Going into our very first show we had never played all together before. We also had only twenty four hours to practice our set… thus the naming and start of the band Twenty4Hours! After being very well received, we started making content for social media and recording music with our label Grant’s Root Beer Records. After the buzz of some hot releases and eye catching videos, we gained a loyal local following which led to other shows and more content creation. Currently we are blessed to be growing our name in music with more exciting opportunities and events ahead!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
One challenge has been finding the time to invest which we’ve found can be hard for 6 high schoolers’ schedules to match up! However, the dedication everyone has to the band is truly remarkable! Few bands have the same level of dedication and charisma. This will certainly take us places!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
The most popular song we wrote “Run to You” has been featured on Spotify’s “Viral Songs Weekly”, it’s been covered and featured in numerous videos!

Musical talent is not the only thing we’ve found is needed for making music. We each contribute in many other areas for the success of the band. For example the mixing/production side of music making as well as marketing are huge aspects that we wouldn’t be anywhere without.

We are unique in that our music taste is very wide spread, so we love playing anything from indie, pop, rock, Christian, to Christmas! Check out our new song “Right Now” that is one of our more indie-rock tracks!

If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Outside of music, Grant actually got started doing YouTube and built a very large channel primarily focused on cars! Luke and London have both enjoyed baseball and have even played together prior to being in music. Cassie, Levi and Cristian all made YouTube channels when they were younger that they still run today! They’ve enjoyed creating music and are very gifted in songwriting!
