Hi PCF, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My name is PCF Scuba and I’m an 16 year old rapper from Detroit, Michigan. I starting making music during my sophomore year when I was like 15 and it was something that at first I seen myself just doing for fun but eventually became better and wanted to make a career out of it. Growing up with nothing has taught me try anything you can for success and I seen a talent with my music so I used it as my way out and my way to change the world through art.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road is long and hard but it’s most definitely worth it. Being 16 trying to make music in a city where pretty much everyone makes music it’s more difficult because you’re going to receive a lot of hate and just be compared to pretty much everyone trying to do the same thing as you.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
One thing about my work as an artist is that you can’t find anything else that is even close to similar with my work. The main thing that separates me from the rest is my unique new and unmatched style. I was always huge on being different from everyone else so naturally, I brought a new and unique flow to my music to separate me from the rest of the artist.
Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
Never give up on your dreams and never change up when your position changes. Everyone has their own battles instead of bringing each other down we have to lift each other up because that’s the only way things can get better.
