Today we’d like to introduce you to Nina Bella.
Hi Nina, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Growing up I was a studio competition dancer since I was 3 and was BIG in competing, it was the only thing I wanted to do. When I graduated high school, I obviously still wanted to dance, so I ended up on my college dance team and did that until I graduated with my bachelors in Communications. Which was pretty amazing because I actually got to dance with my team in the march madness game in 2024 when our team was the huge upset that made it to the second round of the MM tournament (which is an experience i’ll never forget). All of that to say that because I grew up always in the spotlight and on the stage, I always needed a tan so I did not look “washed out”. I was always self tanning and getting spray tans done, until one day 6 years ago I wanted to DIY it. So I learned & started doing my own spray tans. My teammates realized what I was doing so they wanted me to spray tan them for our comps and events, and of course that turned into a trickling effect and I realized I wanted to turn this into more than just a hobby. So I went and got my NSPTA licensed & NUDA certification, learned all the history/ in’s & out’s of spray tanning, and then bring it to October 2025, Bella Bronza LLC was born and I couldn’t be more happy than where I am right now!
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Of course it was not a smooth road, I mean just coming out of college and wanting to start my own business is pretty gutsy if you ask me. But for me, it just felt right. I don’t like to do anything unless it feels natural and the energy is good, and this was one of those things. I mean like all of the ideas. just came so natural to me like the actual business name, our signature pink & black color scheme. It was just all easily coming to me, so I knew I had to turn my ideas into a reality. So in my mind, I didn’t want to harp on the “omg what if this goes wrong”, “what if this doesn’t succeed”, because I know who I am and whatever it is, we’ll make it work!

I’m Nina Bella and I am the owner. I specialize in fully custom premium spray tans with that are tailored to each client’s skin tone, undertone, and the depth of color that they want. My goal is to create a natural, flawless glow that enhances someone’s features and of course never streaky, never orange, and always even. Bella Bronza has become known for its personalized approach and high quality solutions that give clients a long lasting, natural bronze. I’m especially proud of the relationships I’ve built with my clients and the confidence boost they leave with after their appointment. Because this is such a “vulnerable” industry for the clients, I pride myself on making a BB a safe and comfortable environment for all women. I think what really sets Bella Bronza apart is the attention to detail and customization. Every tan is carefully formulated for each client, and I focus heavily on proper prep, technique, and aftercare to ensure the best possible results. Again, I’ve also created a comfortable, women focused environment where clients feel relaxed and taken care of. I always say, spray tans are not a “one size fits all”, which is why I really dive into learning about a clients skin tone/ undertone because I want the spray tan to look beautiful and natural on her. Which is why when you book on our website you’ll never see a “light, medium, dark” option. The clients can pick from “The OG (8-12 hr development), The Quickie (1-6hr development), The Bridal, or Skinsensitivites/ Mama’s, and then during her appointment we. can discuss how light/ dark they want to be and that’s when I work my magic! I also want to point out that a lot of people like to comment on my pricing saying “I need to raise it, that’s too cheap” but I believe in fair pricing. Unfortunately spray tans are not permanent and they do fade eventually (Ours dont fade until after 7-10 days). Being someone who has gotten spray tans before, I feel like $70 is a little insane for a spray tan. So my prices are very fair and realistic. Doesnt mean youre not going to get a top quality spray tan and experience, it just means I don’t like to price gouge. I believe you can get a top quality tan/experience with a fair price! 🙂
