Rising Stars: Meet Matthew Coulter

Today we’d like to introduce you to Matthew Coulter. 

Hi Matthew, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers?
I’m from QUEENS, NY born in 1983. I went from foster home to foster home up til 16. Graduated from high school in York, PA. I was in the military, trade school, and worked several different fields of work. Started YouTube in 2007. Now I am a full-time father. Part-time employee and run two podcast on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube called: “THE P.S.A PODCAST” and “UNCALLED 4 PODCAST”. I’m an inspiring film writer, comedian and have a book I am writing as well. I also do a little Merchandise selling. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
A lot of the obstacles that I had to deal with in life we’re really tough including personal family issues discrimination also homelessness at one point just going against the odds anything that was in my way. When I was younger being adopted within my family in the long run was in a good idea I was really there for the wrong reasons and not the right ones I almost did not make it as well as a newborn baby I was left in the house for almost 3 days and almost did not make it. I live in a mansion through the foster care system with some of the nastiest people I’ve ever knew existed you would not have seen that someone was all the money they had we’re such nasty people. I lost a lot of relatives back-to-back and at their early ages continue to pursue my visions 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I currently run to podcast one is called the PSA podcast and the other one is called UNCALLED 4 podcast. I also do a lot of movie script writing as well as creative writing I have several movies that I have written I have a book that I am in the process of finishing up as well. I’m an actor and a Comedian as well. 

Is there anything else you’d like to share with our readers?
And that no matter what happened every day I went against those odds that were against me and make sure I came out on top and then went back and kick those odds ass again if needed be and continue to move on. Show other people who may go through turmoil in my life as well how to get through it and deal with it and not let it beat you.
