Hi Mariya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Thank you for the opportunity to share my story. I’m originally from Ukraine, and I’ve always had a passion for the beauty industry. From a young age, I was fascinated by how beauty can empower people and enhance their confidence.

After starting my family, I traveled around the United States for my husband’s career, which opened my eyes to diverse beauty cultures and trends. During this time, I realized that my dream of becoming an entrepreneur was more than just a desire—it was a calling. I wanted to create a space where I could share my love for beauty and inspire others. I want to use my passion for beauty to help people feel confident and comfortable in their own skin, empowering them to embrace their unique qualities and shine from within.

My family has been my strongest support throughout this journey. They encourage me to chase my dreams and remind me of the importance of perseverance. Additionally, I draw motivation from the successful people I’ve met along the way. Their stories and achievements inspire me to push my limits and strive for excellence.

With this foundation, I’ve been building my path in the beauty industry, and I’m excited about where it will lead me next.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
While I’m passionate about my work, the road hasn’t always been smooth. I started my business in the middle of the pandemic, which was incredibly challenging. I used all of my family’s savings to invest in this new venture, taking a big risk with many unknowns ahead of me.

One of the hardest parts was balancing my time. I had to take some focus off my family to dedicate myself fully to the business. I was working seven days a week, and I didn’t take any vacations during that time. It was a true test of commitment and resilience.

I made plenty of mistakes along the way, but each one was a valuable learning experience. I believe that growth comes from these challenges, and I’ve worked hard to learn from them to improve both myself and my business. While the journey has been tough, it’s also been incredibly rewarding, and I’m proud of what I’ve built despite the obstacles.

I specialize in providing high-quality beauty treatments, including laser hair removal using top-of-the-line Candela GentleMax Pro Plus equipment, Hydrafacial treatments, skin rejuvenation, and skin pigmentation services. My goal is to help clients achieve their desired results while ensuring a comfortable and personalized experience.

I’m most proud of the quality of service I offer in my area. I focus on delivering exceptional client care, which allows me to build strong, trusting relationships with my clients. I believe that when clients feel valued and understood, it enhances their experience and leads to better outcomes.

What truly sets me apart is my unwavering commitment to quality and results. I always prioritize these aspects because I believe they are key to success in this industry. Additionally, my name and image are my brand, and I take that very seriously. I strive to embody the values I want my business to represent, ensuring that every aspect reflects my dedication to excellence.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
What I like best about my city is its incredible diversity. Growing up in this area, I’ve come to appreciate how that diversity enriches our community. It’s one of our greatest assets, as it brings together a variety of cultures, perspectives, and experiences. Being close to downtown, I love the vibrant atmosphere and the genuine, authentic people I encounter every day.

One of my favorite pastimes is exploring the international cuisine available here. Each week presents a new challenge in deciding which restaurant to try next! It’s exciting to discover different flavors and dishes from around the world, and it truly reflects the melting pot that my city is.

As for what I like the least, I’d say sometimes the rapid growth and development can be overwhelming. It’s a challenge to maintain the unique character and charm that makes our community special amidst all the changes. However, I believe the diversity and spirit of the people here help to balance that out and keep our city thriving.
