Rising Stars: Meet Lauren Scott of Downtown Rochester, Michigan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Lauren Scott

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I have always had a love for healing and helping others my whole life. This lead me to work in the health field for much of my 20’s. I then became a mom to 2 beautiful babies and also a step mom to 2 wonderful kids. For many years I chose to stay home and just be there for all the needs of the children. One cold January day I was going about my normal day getting my children to and from school and I found out that during that day my dad had suddenly passed away. The shock and grief of that trauma set me on a path to find away to heal myself. I ended up stumbling upon a Reiki I and II class and felt guided to take it. I went on to get my Master training as well as my Animal Master training. During the pandemic I decided to teach Reiki to women with Lupus virtually. This ignited my passion for teaching.

In 2022 when then pandemic seemed to finally be fading away, I began to look for an in person office and landed in Rochester Michigan. Since then we have added many healing modalities to our services. We have also trained many Reiki practitioner and Masters, as well as Animal Reiki practitioners and Masters. We just continue to follow the guidance from the universe and find ways to heal others and the world.

We are also end of life doulas, in which we help families and the people in transition have the outcome that they want.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Owning a business is never a smooth road. I have invested my heart and soul into this business. I had a lot of challenges to overcome like learning the rights and wrongs of owning a business. Hiring employees who didn’t have me or the best interest of my business in their minds. I did find that these are all lessons that I had to learn and go through, good or bad so that me and my business could grow and mature . After some heartaches and trusting the wrong people the universe gifted me with some wonderful trustworthy employees that are magnificent healers and who also put their heart and soul into my business.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
We are an energy healing business right in the heart of downtown Rochester. We are mainly Reiki based, which is a Japanese version of clearing energy of a person and being attuned to the universal life force energy. We have many healing modalities that go with this but our main ones are Reiki, Animal Reiki, Animal Communication, Intuitive Reiki sessions where we connect with your guides, Craniosacral, Trauma work, sound healing, and all levels of Reiki classes.

We truly have a passion for healing others and we are always collaborating on how to make ourselves better healers and also make the business better. We are always finding new trainings we can take to add to our knowledge and ways to make our clients healing process smoother and easier.

How do you define success?
Success to me is watching the growth of my business and the impact we are having on people and their families. I always describe Reiki Euphorias growth like a child. A couple of years ago it was a toddler. Now I would say its blossomed into a late teenager or early adulthood. It been very rewarding and fun watching the process happen.
