Hi Kevin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I began my journey as a freelancer while still actively playing professional hockey. During this time, many fellow players approached me, seeking job opportunities that would provide them with additional income while still allowing them to pursue their athletic careers. This inspired me to create a model where they could work as independent sales members on a part-time basis, gaining valuable skills and financial stability alongside their hockey aspirations. Over time, this initiative evolved, and through strategic partnerships and collaborations, we developed a well-rounded agency, 4th Line Marketing, dedicated to helping businesses grow and drive revenue.

Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy road, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?

The journey has certainly had its challenges. One of the initial struggles was navigating the dynamics of being a Canadian who was in the process of moving to the US. This transition brought about complexities related to hiring the right team members who could invest the necessary time and effort into the business. Additionally, finding our niche in a crowded market was no small feat. Moving the business from Canada to the U.S. also introduced significant tax implications and logistical hurdles that we had to overcome. Despite these obstacles, each challenge taught us valuable lessons and ultimately strengthened our resolve.

My journey into entrepreneurship, particularly through the challenges posed by the pandemic, has led me to prioritize delivering tangible results for our clients at 4th Line Marketing. Our focus is on helping businesses achieve measurable growth by offering strategic solutions tailored to their specific needs. Central to our approach is a commitment to transparency in all aspects of our services, particularly in pricing, onboarding, and reporting.
