Today we’d like to introduce you to Keana Karim.
Hi Keana, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My journey began with a deep love for fashion, design, modeling, and creativity. As a child, I was always drawn to art and self-expression, but just as deeply, I felt a calling to uplift people especially those who felt unseen, misunderstood, or without a voice. For a long time, I didn’t know how all of my passions would come together. I only knew that God placed something in my heart that I couldn’t ignore.
Through seasons of learning, healing, and trusting God with my life, I found my way into fashion, education, and mentorship. I was blessed with the opportunity to combine both worlds as a high school fashion design teacher. That chapter confirmed what I had always known, my purpose is tied to pouring into others. While I have big dreams for the future, my current season is focused on building myself, my faith, and the vision God placed inside of me.
Today, I serve as an ESA educational provider, private tutor, and mentor for children in grades K–12. My heart behind everything I do is simple: I genuinely want to see people win. I want them to grow, to believe in themselves, and to walk confidently into who they were created to be. Every chapter of my life even the painful ones has shaped the woman I am today and continues to shape the mission behind my work.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The road has not been easy. One of my greatest challenges has been living with Crohn’s Disease, a chronic illness I was diagnosed with at just 15 years old. There were moments when my body felt weak, my spirit felt tired, and my faith was tested. I faced battles I wasn’t prepared for, and there were times when I truly wondered if I had the strength to keep going.
But God carried me when I couldn’t carry myself. Today, I advocate for others living with autoimmune conditions like mine because I want them to know their lives are not limited by a diagnosis. You can still dream. You can still create. You can still live a full and joyful life. My struggles taught me how deeply I needed God, and they gave me a softer heart for people who are fighting battles no one else can see. What once felt like a burden has become part of my testimony.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At the core of everything I do, I am a helper, educator, and creative who is deeply passionate about uplifting others. I specialize in early childhood education, social-emotional learning, and creative mentorship, with a heart for supporting children and families through patience, structure, and encouragement. Alongside my work in education, I am also a fashion designer, photographer, model, and creator.
I am known for my compassion, consistency, and ability to make people feel truly seen and supported especially children who need extra care, understanding, or motivation. I take pride in creating safe, nurturing spaces where growth feels possible and where creativity and learning go hand in hand.
What I am most proud of is my dedication to serving others with both skill and heart. Whether I’m teaching, mentoring, or creating, my work is always rooted in purpose and faith. I’ve spent years building trust with families, students, and my community through patience, integrity, and genuine care.
What sets me apart is my ability to merge education, creativity, and faith into everything I do. I don’t just teach or create I pour into people emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. My goal is always to help others rise in confidence, clarity, and purpose, and to leave them feeling empowered, hopeful, and reminded that their lives carry deep meaning.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up, I was very introverted, but always curious. I loved learning, exploring new ideas, and connecting with knowledge. The library became my safe space it was where I felt most at peace. I spent a lot of time volunteering and helping others however I could. Even as a child, I had a natural desire to uplift, encourage, and empower the people around me.
Looking back now, I can clearly see that God was already preparing me for the work I do today. The seeds of purpose were planted long before I ever recognized them.
