Rising Stars: Meet Elizabeth Broniak of Burton Michigan

Today we’d like to introduce you to Elizabeth Broniak

Hi Elizabeth, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
My partner Robert & I started out wanting to do something we could pass down to our 3 kids. We started out doing craft shows in Davison and Holly with our handburned & laser wood burns of family portraits, loved ones, beloved animals, kitchen utensils, plaques, keychains, bottle openers ect. Our shows were doing really good but the markets were becoming not so great with people wanting to copy our exact designs, company logo ect so we decided we wanted more and something unique that we dont really have around in Burton. So we decided to talk with vendors we did shows with and to recruit on our business page and put together a unique store with 50+ vendors who all do something different and unique all hand crafted and create The Majestic Wolf Crafts and More Store. We have something for everyone and we have new additions/ products daily.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
So far its been smooth we have struggled some on getting our name out there and figuring out ways to get people in. Finding unique and fun new vendors to add to the store takes time and its a thoughtful process that we include the rest of the vendors in.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Ive been an entrepreneur my whole life growing up. I love to craft and create unique and fun items on my free time. I was working at Burger Street grille and Cafe but decided to put my all into the store. Im really good at flyers and post pretty much marketing for my business. But im really proud of not giving up on my dreams i have for the business and working with our incredibly talented vendors to put on classes & events in our space and just making the entire experience of owning a small business fun.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
Being optimistic, encourgaing, dedicated and motivated to continue working on our dream
