Rising Stars: Meet Bianca Bee of New York

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bianca Bee.

Hi Bianca, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I’m Bianca Bee, I’m originally from Detroit, but I built my name and career in Los Angeles before moving to New York to expand my career and pursue even bigger opportunities in media. Every city has shaped me in a different way and pushed me to grow both personally and professionally.

I started my career in television because I’ve always been fascinated by Hollywood and Fame. Over the years, I’ve worked on nationally syndicated shows like *The Steve Harvey Show*, *The Mel Robbins Show*, and *The Nick Cannon Show*, where I learned how to book guests, produce compelling conversations, and thrive in fast-paced live television. Today, I work as a Booking Producer at a major network. I love being able to help shape conversations that inform and inspire millions of people.

Outside of my career, I’m building the Bianca Bee brand. My vision is to create content that blends media, lifestyle, entertainment, and real-life experiences while encouraging people to pursue bigger dreams. I’m passionate about interviewing people, beauty and showing that success doesn’t have to fit into one box.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Definitely not. Like most people in media, I’ve had to work incredibly hard for every opportunity. This industry is competitive, fast-paced, and constantly changing, so there have been moments of uncertainty, rejection, and having to prove myself over and over again especially as a Black Woman.

One of my biggest challenges was moving across the country to build my career. Leaving Los Angeles and starting over in New York meant stepping into a new market, rebuilding my network, and adapting to a completely different pace. It wasn’t always easy AT ALL, but I knew growth required taking that leap.

I’ve also learned that career growth isn’t always linear. There have been times when I’ve taken on more responsibility without the title or recognition immediately matching the work. Those experiences taught me the importance of advocating for myself, knowing my value, and staying focused on the bigger picture instead of getting discouraged by temporary setbacks.

On a personal level, balancing an ambitious career while making time for myself has been another challenge. Working in live television often means early mornings, long hours, and being ready for breaking news at any moment. Learning to protect my energy while continuing to chase big goals has been an ongoing lesson.

Looking back, every obstacle has made me more resilient. The challenges have strengthened my confidence, sharpened my work ethic, and reminded me that success isn’t about avoiding setbacks, it’s about continuing to move forward despite them.

If there’s one thing my story reflects, it’s resilience. I’ve had moments where things didn’t go as planned, opportunities that didn’t work out, and plenty of challenges that forced me to grow. Instead of letting those moments define me, I’ve used them as motivation to keep evolving. I’m still writing my story, but every chapter has brought me closer to the life and career I’m working to build.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m a media mogul and entrepreneur passionate about building brands that empower people to feel confident, inspired, and unapologetically themselves. Through my social media platforms, I share my journey in beauty and personal growth while giving people an authentic look at what it takes to build a business and a personal brand from the ground up. I’m also the founder of **BFF Cosmetics**, a beauty brand that was created with the belief that confidence is your best accessory.

What I’m most proud of is that everything I’m building is rooted in authenticity. I’m not trying to fit into someone else’s version of success. I’m creating a brand that reflects who I am and where I want to go. Every piece of content I share and every business decision I make is intentional and focused on building something with long-term impact.

What sets me apart is my ability to connect with girls in media. Whether I’m sharing behind-the-scenes moments, documenting my entrepreneurial journey, or highlighting everyday experiences, I want people to feel like they’re growing alongside me. I’m building more than a social media following, I’m building a community. My goal is for people to see my journey and believe that they can build the life they’ve always dreamed of, too.

How do you think about happiness?
Recording videos about confidence and sharing advice makes me the happiest because I love encouraging people to believe in themselves and go after the life they want. If something I’ve shared helps even one person feel more confident or take a chance on themselves, that’s incredibly rewarding to me.
