Rising Stars: Meet Angie Green of Oxford downtown

Today we’d like to introduce you to Angie Green.

Hi Angie, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
We have been in business for 9 years and created stuffed bagels as our niche! They went over so well that 2 years ago my family and I decided to distribute them to other coffee shops which grew into wholesaling them to grocery stores and convenient stores. We are currently 512 stores across 22 states. My husband , rich, and 2 sons Hunter (24) Gavin (21) are all apart of the success. We are still growing and I am very excited to see what next. Evergreens coffee and bakeshop is our storefront and Bros n Dough is the wholesaling side of things.
We have several stuffed bagels all stuffed with cream cheese and various scrumptious ingredients like bacon cheddar, jalapeno cheddar, apple cinnamon and many more

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The biggest struggle in my eyes is getting your name out there ! We constantly trying to let people know who we are and what we do !

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
My background is emergency room nursing but passion has always been in the kitchen – it was a hard decision to take this leap of faith into unknown territory. We have a great community that supports us and we support them. We have love in all of our products !

What would you say have been one of the most important lessons you’ve learned?
All businesses have ups and downs and you need to have the courage to push through to he tough times ! Mindset is everything.
