Morgan Kaczmarczyk of Anywhere! on Life, Lessons & Legacy

We’re looking forward to introducing you to Morgan Kaczmarczyk. Check out our conversation below.

Morgan, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: What do the first 90 minutes of your day look like?
I get up and walk my dog for the first half hour and then upon getting home will make my coffee and get right to work. Most days I start with responding to any new emails and then get started on editing photos.

Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a life photographer based in West Michigan and I work all over the country. I edit true to life and true to the moment which allows me to create images that help bring you back to the moment and relive some of the best parts of your life. I specialize in anything with people but my favorite things to photograph are weddings and boudoir.

Okay, so here’s a deep one: What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Leaving an abusive household. Allowing myself to grow in the world and become a person again was incredibly freeing.

When did you last change your mind about something important?
Yesterday. I honestly feel like this happens quite a bit and thats ok as humans to do.

Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
Equality and equity for all

Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Working. I’d be doing my work, but as more of a passion than for profit.
