Meet Vicktoria Montaie

Today we’d like to introduce you to Vicktoria Montaie. Them and their team share their story with us below:

Vickie is a pray warrior, loctician, and artist using her gifts every day to glorify God while being a committed wife to her husband Dexter. Vickie continues to grow in Christ as she participates in youth ministry outreach, being an intercessor in prayer and establishing her spiritual gifts to be used for God’s glory. Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan she was blessed to have a family that worked in the church which gave her the opportunities to sever and be raised with a foundation centered around Christian values. After going to school for visual communications and art design, she decided to focus her spiritual gifts helping others show of their natural beauty and God-given talents. She does this now while working with ChristCentered.us and has experience with outreach programs, church planting, and teaching youth. 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It has been a bumpy road being a Christian locitian, to find my place in a dominate industry that focused on Aagnya(enlightenment). Which is contrary from what the Bible teaches but through it all, I was able to persevere through God’s grace. It have been a blessing to find so many clients that wanted a Christian locitian they can fellowship with. While providing a safe environment for everyone who may not necessarily be Christian while still giving opportunity to fellowship. 

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I am Christian locitian, that specializes in healthy locs care and maintenance. Having authentic bond with my clients is what I’m known for and creating long-lasting friendships. Not compromise whom I’m while doing something I love is my proud moment. I give back to the community by providing free loc maintenance once a month sets me apart from others.
