Meet Valentin Vushaj of Era Coffee & Co.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Valentin Vushaj.

Hi Valentin, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
It all began with our love for coffee. My wife and I always talked about having our own coffee beans and our own cafe one day. The fragrance of coffee brings happiness, comfort and has us always coming back for more. The name ERA comes from our native language (Albanian), meaning smell. Not all coffee is created equal, which is why we went on a mission to find the best quality coffee available. In search for the best coffee, we found ourselves in Turin, Italy, where The Espresso got its name.

From there we brought our beans to Michigan, began selling them in local stores and eventually created the Era Espresso Bar to bring the coffee experience to special events like wedding and all types of celebrations.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
We are both professionals in other fields, and balancing our careers while launching a new product has been a challenge. At times, managing both commitments can be demanding.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
We are Era Coffee & Co. a small coffee business. We roast our beans in Italy and we are also a coffee cart company bringing the Era Espresso Bar Experience to you! We strive to create an exceptional coffee experience for our costumers and also bring that experience to any event where the aroma of freshly brewed espresso wafts through the air, instantly awakening your senses. From cappuccinos, americanos, iced lattes or macchiatos we cover it all.

What do you like best about our city? What do you like least?
There are limited walkable destinations in our town. We like that it’s a safe and family oriented area.
