Meet Ryan Reed of Women’s Basketball League Inc.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Ryan Reed.

Hi Ryan , so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in Detroit, Mumford High School graduated. Started my entrepreneurship journey in 2016 when I started my security firm Reed & Associates Protection. I did well in that field and was able to purchase the Detroit Cougars of the Rivals Professional football league. I learned sports on the business side and saw the need of more opportunity for women basketball players so I decided to form the Women’s Basketball League (WBL). Prior to this I was a grounds worker at Roseland Park cemetery searching for the right direction for my life. I’m the middle of 7 siblings married with 4 kids

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Has not been smooth at all being the first black man to ever start a women’s league it’s hard to get people to believe in you.its gotten easier since I have the help of WNBA legends like Cheryl Ford, Sylvia Crawley Spann and Rushia Brown.

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know?
