Today we’d like to introduce you to Quintin Richards.
Hi Quintin, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
Born in Detroit on February 1st, 1999. I grew up in a two-family home on Detroit’s westside (Joy rd.) before moving to Redford. Throughout my life, I’ve always been a half-glass-full type of fella. I’ve indulged in many sports as a youth including basketball and baseball. After graduating from Thurston Highschool I attended Henry ford community college for a PTA (physical therapist assistant) program, but then Covid19 debunked all of schooling. So, after a year of quarantine, I was looking for work, and I was successfully hired at Leaf guard in 2021. After servicing 40+ homes all over Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin. I’ve decided to depart from leaf guard and continue to go back to schooling. I now attend Irene’s school of myomas ology and simultaneously started Greater than gutter services. I’m all into holistic healing, but being on the ladder is peaceful work to me. As long as I can help people, that’s all that matters to me.
We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
This year most definitely has been the most challenging in my life by far. My respect for business owners has multiplied. The entrepreneur route definitely isn’t for the weak. Maintaining this hectic schedule with school, work, and gutter business has taken up a lot of my time, but it will all be worth it. I wouldn’t ask for it any different way because it’s the way I’m going about this I control my destiny, and I’m having a great time on chapter 23 of my life.

My business started with Gutter cleanings but has expanded its services to gutter repair and full gutter installation. As included in the name we are more than just gutter goblins we also intergraded power washing into our list of services.
