Pazz COLSTON bonner

Hi Pazz, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
I am a United States Army female veteran. I was denied. Healthcare from the VA for 37 years. Social Security had to disable me so I could get healthcare to get both hips replaced from injuries I sustained while serving my country. After I was finally able to get service connected from the Army and get back pay, I purchased a home from my personal resources and started Homes for Heroic veterans. I didn’t want to see another veteran have to go through what I went through.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It has not always been smooth. We deal with a lot of veterans that have p t s d and a lot of other issues. Our goal is to get the veteran what they need to get them back to being a productive citizen period. Some of the struggles that we’ve dealt with have been financially and just the support that we need to help the veterans.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
President of Homes for heroic veterans. We are a village that works diligently to help homeless veterans become productive citizens. We have fought for our country. We deserve to be accepted and ushered back into society with dignity and respect.

What makes you happy?
What makes me happy is helping other people it fulfills me, and that’s my purpose in life.
