Meet Natalie Watha of Evermore Nutrition and Wellness

Today we’d like to introduce you to Natalie Watha

Hi Natalie, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I am Natalie Watha, RDN, a first-generation Chaldean American, raised by immigrant parents who instilled a strong sense of hard work and determination in me. I always had a passion for nutrition and wellness, which led me to pursue a career as a Registered Dietitian. After working for various clinical settings or 7 years, a little over one year ago, I began my own private practice, Evermore Nutrition and Wellness. Around the same time, I also started my Instagram account/food blog, @dietitian.natalie.cooks, to share my love for cooking and offer healthful recipes and nutrition tips to a broader audience. It’s been an amazing journey so far, and I’m excited to see where it leads.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. One of the biggest challenges was balancing my desire to start my private practice with the reality of having a family, young kids, and a part-time job. There were many times I questioned whether I could pull it off, or if I even had the time. Then, due to an unfortunate loss in my family, the hard hit reality of how short and unpredictable life can be, pushed me to stop waiting for the “perfect” time and just keep going for it. Even after starting my practice, I had to learn a lot about running a business—something that wasn’t covered much in my training. But I kept pushing through and learning as I went.

Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about Evermore Nutrition and Wellness?
Evermore Nutrition and Wellness is a private nutrition counseling practice where I specialize in working with individuals with chronic diseases. I focus on sustainable lifestyle changes through personalized nutrition plans that help my clients achieve long-term health goals. What sets me apart is a personalized approach and my emphasis on culturally relevant and approachable nutrition advice—especially being a first-generation dietitian with immigrant roots. I understand the challenges of navigating between cultures and finding a balance between tradition and health. I’m most proud of the personalized, empathetic care I offer to each client. What I want readers to know is that nutrition doesn’t have to be complicated or restrictive. My practice is about helping clients create nourishing habits that fit their lives and goals, all while making food enjoyable.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
Growing up in metro Detroit, some of my favorite childhood memories are the summers we spent traveling up north with my family and cousins. Every summer, we’d pack up and head out to enjoy Michigan’s beautiful landscapes—those trips brought us closer together and gave me a deep appreciation for the outdoors and simple joys in life.
