We took our very first international trips as teenagers, and we haven’t been able to sit still since. Lola spent a summer studying abroad in China, while Aryka studied abroad in Italy. Both experiences sparked our love for immersing ourselves in different cultures and showed us how travel can shape identity and perspective. At the same time, we saw how quickly a group trip can go wrong with poor coordination, and that realization stuck with us.
When we returned home, we knew we wanted to change the way people experienced travel. For us, travel should be hands-free, care-free, and stress-free—something that allows people to focus on connection, culture, and creating memories without the headaches of logistics. That belief is what ultimately led us to build LC Travels. Today, as sisters and co-founders, we curate group trips, milestone celebrations, and immersive journeys that take the stress off travelers and put the joy back into the experience.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Deciding to carve out a lane strictly in international travel has been both our greatest passion and our biggest challenge. Many people start with local trips or domestic tours, but we knew from the beginning that our heart was in creating global experiences. That meant figuring out how to build trust with clients who were handing us not just their money, but their dreams for once-in-a-lifetime trips—often across continents.
We’ve faced challenges with building the right systems, educating travelers on the value of curated international experiences, and navigating unexpected world events that impact travel. But each obstacle pushed us to refine our process, strengthen our relationships, and double down on the mission that travel should be hands-free, care-free, and stress-free. Those struggles shaped LC Travels into what it is today: a business that can confidently design milestone trips and immersive journeys that feel seamless for our clients, no matter where in the world they go.

Honestly, we don’t have a long list of mentors or industry advocates behind us. Our journey has been very self-driven, with a lot of trial, error, and determination. The people who deserve the most credit are our clients—those who trusted us with their celebrations and life moments even when we were just starting out. Their faith, referrals, and repeat bookings gave LC Travels the momentum it needed to grow.
We also owe a lot to our family and friends, who have been our consistent cheerleaders. From encouraging us to keep going when things were tough, to showing up at events and sharing our brand with others, that support has been priceless.
