Today we’d like to introduce you to Litta Monea.
Hi Litta, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
It all started my senior year in High School. I was one who had friends, but not too many of them. I went through one of the hardest times of my life when my late boyfriend was killed when we were 17, 18 years old. That pain definitely made me work myself a little too much, but it got me to where I am now. I started my cosmetics business January 2020 selling lip-gloss and lashes. Later on, I started to sell much more even including men essentials in tribute to Kam, I named my business Kamera Ready. Not long after did I show interest in modeling. In April 2020 I started to model for MadiBoy Productions and everything sort of took off from there. I have shot with Little Herbs Co., A Diva’s Boutique, Gettes, and did plenty of fashion shows. I’ve also been blessed enough to be published in Maxi Magazine. I was going to photoshoots to cope with my pain, I even booked sessions to just get out the house if I was feeling down. I carry my late boyfriend’s name with me the further I go in life, it’s like my safe place. Just recently I have graduated with my bachelor in Arts & Science, majoring in Psychology.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It’s been plenty of struggles. After all that happened, I basically just shut down and put myself in crisis mode just going straight to work. I have taken plenty of losses in almost every category. I’ve lost friends that I truly cared for, I’ve even had to question if I was in school for a reason. My freshman year in college was so bad I was in the dean office ready to drop out. Luckily, I didn’t.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m a model. I specialize in print model, fashion model, and commercial modeling. I think I’m known for my cosmetic line the most or my pineapple photoshoot I did. I’m most proud of graduating college at 20 years old. My resilience is one thing I carry proudly that sets me apart from others.
What has been the most important lesson you’ve learned along your journey?
You need to do it for yourself, if you’re trying prove a point or make other people happy, you’ll always be disappointed in the end.
