Meet LaShea Williams of The Selfie Studio Michigan/Snap 360 Photo Booth

Today we’d like to introduce you to LaShea Williams.

Hi LaShea , please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
I started my Photobooth business in June 2021. Starting my photo booth business led me to open a selfie museum in January 2022. I felt like a Selfie Museum would be a great addition, because it’s centered around photography.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Business picked up pretty quickly, we were booking events right away. This winter has been our slowest months since we started, with the photo booth business. However, we are confident we will be booked at the Selfie Museum, as well with Snap 360 Photo Booth.

We’ve been impressed with The Selfie Studio Michigan/Snap 360 Photo Booth, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
We are known for our 360-video booth, and photo booth, which is very popular right now. We also have a Selfie Museum where guest can book 1-hour sessions. It is a self-guided museum you can either take your own photos with a ring light or bring in a photographer. Our Selfie Museum has 25 photo sets for people to capture that perfect selfie. We have done award shows and other events with our 360-video booth, which is known for the special effects. You can rent both the photo booths and our Selfie Studio by the hour. The Selfie Studio Michigan can be booked for up to 45 people, we provide the tables and chairs.

Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
I would tell anyone to find a mentor, to help you along the way with any business ventures. I attended a webinar about starting a Selfie Museum and joined several support groups. Joining those groups has been so beneficial to my businesses, I have learned from each of them.
