Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has been an incredible labor of love, lessons and incredible growth. Having the unwavering support of my longtime manager, best friend and now husband has been a true team player throughout my journey.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
There are so many highlights in my musical career.. 1. The opportunity to live and perform overseas in Japan 3 months at a time for 25 years.building an international fan base. Learning to speak and sing in Japanese was a true honor.
I am most proud of my creative production of the KIMMIE HORNE JAZZ FESTIVAL. An award winning International jazz festival that we produced and successfully expanded over a decade of sharing the stage with world class performers, food and boutique vendors, fitness and fun for the entire family to enjoy. Also the commitment to make financial donations to several organizations throughout the years. I believe what sets me apart is the ability to spontaneously transition through music idioms, be a spokesperson ambassador with Ford and Lincoln automobiles and produce musical international shows.
What makes you happy?
What truly makes me happy is performing live. I feel most comfortable and at home on the stage.
