Meet Jupyter

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jupyter.

Hi Jupyter, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstories with our readers.
Since the beginning of my existence in music, I’ve always wanted to be “good enough” for people. I did a lot of free records, a lot of free studio sessions, a lot of free time spent on keep a “good” name but who was it for? Me? You? No, it’s for God. As I dig deep to look within to find “The Goods” I hit gold! For God, the source of everything, I’ve always been good enough! Once I prayed, meditated, and came to that realization, I became unstoppable and extremely successful in my own right.

MY ALBUM – THE GOOD GUYS OCT_1_22

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has been nothing but bumpy, ugly, evil, discouraging, and HARD. However, what fun would the journey be without the bad? If you went to see the Grand Canyon and all the rocks were smooth, no edges, not ridges, no cracks, just smooth rocks – it wouldn’t even be “a thing”. Those imperfections actually make the Grand Canyon perfect and beauty to witness. That’s how I view my career. Without all the adversities I put myself through and have been through, I wouldn’t be able to inspire myself or the next upcoming producer on what I did or didn’t do. The biggest struggle along the way has been to make sure I get credited for the work I do. Storytime: I produced on a #1 Gold selling record called T******. I would hear it walking into restaurants, malls, during commutes, it was even my aunts favorite record, it was everywhere! Sounds dope right? Sounds like life should change right? Well, guess who didn’t make sure splits/credit was handled properly? Me. I learned quickly that it is up to ME to make sure I get the proper credit. Not anybody else! If that means losing industry friends along the way then so be it!

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am music producer (FL Gang) and musician of: drums, organ, piano, beat machine, and percussion. I specialize in being able to produce all moods and frequencies of music. I think that’s what sets me apart, you can come to me and hear everything. From the hardest rap music to the softest meditation tones. I have no sound; my sound is music itself! I’m chosen. God is great.

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
My favorite childhood memory is getting my first drum set at age 8. I was heavily influenced by drummer Tony Royster Jr at that time. I felt I was ready to fill his shoes, yes at age 8 lol!
