Meet Jose Robinson

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jose Robinson. 

Hi Jose, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today.
My name is Jose Robinson, and I got the idea for Mana Moment right after high school. I really wanted to have more positivity in my life and began looking at opportunities and hardships in a new perspective. It felt like I had opened my eyes to a whole new world. Events, circumstances, and moments began to open up and provided a better life for me. I decided to dedicate my life to small connections to life and living, as well as the big accomplishments that came with a new vision. Eventually, Mana Moment became a lifestyle, and I have now created into a movement to share creativity and positivity through joy, truth, and love. 

We all face challenges, but looking back, would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Absolutely not, but that’s what makes the story more fun to tell! 

For the past 10+ years, I started over and over the idea, the methods, and the definition of Mana Moment. I kept on with my ideas and plans. About 5 years ago, I got really sick and thought I might not make it another year. I decided to dedicate the rest of my life, just in case anything happened to me, to create books, merch, and a business to share my life story. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
In my creative life, I have done many mediums of art, such as photography, design, spoken word, poetry, videography, and more. I enjoy being able to be expressive and share stories in many forms. I have now done freelancing and created Mana Moment as a business to help with business branding and consultation. 

I am proud that after all these years, I didn’t give up and that I can show my kids that I went after my dreams and accomplished it. 

Can you share something surprising about yourself?
Honestly, a lot of people don’t know about my struggles or difficulties, or even the failures I’ve had throughout my life and the building of Mana Moment.
