Meet Jaylin Anderson of Detroit

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaylin Anderson.

Hi Jaylin, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I grew up in Detroit, Off of West Warren and Outer Drive. I started rapping around 16 or 17. I have been pursuing music for about 10 years now and while i cant say I “made it”, I will say that i have managed to build a decent fanbase and reach many listeners around the world and for that I am humbled. I truly love what I do so not being mainstream does not really matter to me. My music ranges from street anthems to more deeper topics such as politics.

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The biggest struggle is the pressure to “make it”. Like I said I have been doing this for a long time, so I’ve always been asked why i haven’t gone mainstream yet. I would be if I said I haven’t been discouraged about that as well. Networking is also a bit of a struggle as well.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Im a Rap artist out of Detroit,MI. My topics go from anything from Street raps to Political raps. I feel like as an artist, you cant just stick to one topic your whole career. I’m most proud of the fans i have made along the way and the quality of music i have been able to put out over the years.
