Today we’d like to introduce you to Jano Baxmann.
Hi Jano, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I used to be a professional soccer player for BVB and totally fell out of love with the game, so decided to some time off and study in the U.S. where I started to be a DJ around 2023. Doing was the first thing that gave me dedication and drive after leaving my dreams as a player behind. I started producing and signed my first track and even started doing infront of hundreds of people and started loving it. Today I work with big artists and even DJ in Ibiza.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
no smooth road at all. Depressions while playing soccer. No guidance after my career and no musical education prior to becoming a music producer
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I specialize especially on making funky house music that people like to listen and groove to but also on the vocals that make people sing. I spend a lot of time on reddit and dig for gems that nobody uses from the 90s and 80s and love doing it
How do you define success?
I define success in having a balanced life. Being able to take time of whenever I want and to go watch a soccer game with my friends without stressing about money or time.
