Today we’d like to introduce you to Jaison Koshy.
Hi Jaison, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I came to faith at a young age, and early on I sensed God inviting me into something bigger than myself. Ministry wasn’t a career path I chose, it was a conviction that kept growing. Over the years, God shaped me through seasons of learning, serving, waiting, and stretching.
For the past 18 years, my family and I have served in full-time ministry. I pastor a multi-ethnic church and lead Kingdom Builders International, with a simple vision: to equip, empower, and edify people to live out the Gospel wherever God has placed them. Beyond the church, I serve as a care coach and chaplain in the marketplace, walking with professionals through real-life pressures, decisions, and transitions. I also serve as a life coach in a high school, investing in the next generation and helping students discover purpose, identity, and direction early in life.
Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of preaching, mentoring leaders, and journeying with individuals and families through both breakthrough and brokenness.
I’m still learning. Still growing. Still saying yes. And I remain convinced that when we stay faithful to God’s call, He faithfully leads us where He wants us to be.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
For sure, there were seasons of uncertainty where the calling was clear, but the path was bumpy. Times when resources were limited, doors felt slow to open, and the weight of responsibility felt heavy, especially when caring for people while carrying my own questions. Leading in ministry and in the marketplace meant learning how to navigate disappointment, criticism, unmet expectations, and people leaving in whom you have invested a lot, but God, in His faithfulness, keeps bringing the right leaders and support system to further the vision.
There were also personal stretches of waiting trusting God in silence, learning patience when progress felt delayed, and choosing obedience when it came at a cost. Balancing family, ministry, and serving others required constant surrender and healthy boundaries.
Through it all, God used the everything to refine my faith, deepen my compassion, and remind me that fruitfulness flows from faithfulness. The road hasn’t been smooth, but it has been shaped by God’s grace every step of the way.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
My work centers on helping people encounter Jesus and live out their faith in real, everyday life. I serve as a pastor, mentor, care coach, chaplain in the marketplace, and a life coach in a high school. Across all these spaces, my focus is the same: formation before performance, character before platform.
I specialize in discipleship, leadership development, pastoral care, and practical life coaching. I’m often called on to help people navigate transition spiritual, personal, relational, or vocational and to bring clarity when life feels overwhelming or stuck. What I’m known for is teaching the Word with depth and simplicity, walking closely with people through both crisis and calling, and creating environments where faith becomes lived, not just learned.
What I’m most proud of is the leaders (globally) who’ve been equipped, families restored, students finding purpose, and everyday believers growing confident in their calling. Seeing lives transformed and disciples activated is the greatest reward.
What sets me apart is the bridge I carry between church and marketplace, pulpit and classroom, and vision and care. I don’t believe ministry belongs in one space. I believe the Gospel is meant to shape every space. I lead with presence, humility, and consistency, and I’m committed to staying faithful to the call long after the spotlight fades.
What was your favorite childhood memory?
One of my favorite childhood memories is sitting with my family during simple, unhurried moments—shared meals, long conversations, and watching my parents faithfully serving people and community.
