Meet Jackie Pappas

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jackie Pappas.  

Jackie, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
We got started out of 21 North Mainstreet. I did a show out of there and started bringing in musician friends. We decided to start putting shows on to give musicians a good listening room so they could be heard playing their originals versus being put in a corner at a bar playing covers. 

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
There were definitely some bumps in the road, and there still are. We grew very quickly, and it has been a challenge trying to get more help. We had to pump the breaks a bit which is a good thing because now we have time to delegate jobs. 

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a singer-songwriter, and I run a venue out of Clarkston. I specialize in writing and performing my songs. I am known for my original music and Wiltsie’s. I am most proud of my kids and family. I am a mom, and I work hard at trying to have a good balance between life and work. 

Do you have any advice for those just starting out?
Don’t be afraid to be your true authentic self.
