From Birth To Death is a heavy metal duo consisting of Devin John and Brandon Lee out of Bay City, MI. Combining elements of heavy, thrash, and groove metal, they are able to bring an immense sound that captivates audiences across the metal scene.
Devin and Brandon were long acquainted with one another and eventually discovered that they were both musicians who shared a passion for metal music. With Devin on drums and Brandon on guitar, the two formed From Birth To Death.
While being strictly a duo wasn’t what they initially envisioned, Devin’s ability to sing and play the drums simultaneously, combined with Brandon’s limitless capability on the guitar, the pair were able to accomplish a unique feat. While opening for well-known acts such as Soulfly, Powerman 5000, Saliva, Flotsam and Jetsam, Hammerfall, and other big names of the metal genre, despite only being a two-piece band, the duo succeed in bringing out a full sound and putting on exciting and energetic shows, showing that From Birth To Death was truly an extraordinarily talented act.

Being an independent artist always comes with its challenges, especially being a heavy metal band. We’ve faced the obstacles that come with having limited resources and funding.
Securing bigger gigs and gaining exposure without the support of a major label can be a real uphill battle.
Additionally, navigating the digital landscape and standing out in a crowded online market requires constant effort and adaptability.
This is all part of the journey though, and makes the payoff all the more worth it in the end.
