Today we’d like to introduce you to Elaine Grohman.
Hi Elaine, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
As is true for all of us, Life has many twists and turns. I am fortunate to have a multi-faceted Life, and as a result, I do many different things, all of which have led me to embrace what it means to Heal and grow in our Lives. Knowingly or unknowingly, we all experience prescribed ways in which our value, our ability to grow and learn, our understanding of ourselves and one another, and the significant contributions we can and ought to make with Life continue to be curtailed. Religions, ideologies, culture, and belief systems have worked tirelessly to limit our greater understanding of our Lives, and the result is war, external and internal battles, slavery, violence, degradation of our environment, and illness. It is no accident that we find our world in its present state – we have allowed information to be exchanged for true Wisdom.
I am an Energy Healer, Intuitive educator, author, artist, and former radio and podcast host with 67 years of experiences to call upon and every day, I recognize just how little I really know. As an Energy Healer, I have had the privilege of working with medical schools, physicians, nurses, hospice patients, and countless individuals, helping to begin to change the narrative of what Health and Healing truly are. We have been disconnected from the Living Earth.
As one of nine children, I was immersed in a loving family supported by guidance, creativity, love, and collaboration. Our family unity has helped us support one another through illness, trauma, transitions, and deaths, knowing that together we can support whatever is happening in our lives – and that for as long as we are alive, we are in this together.
The death of one of our brothers at the age of 15 (I was 12) and the unexpected death of our mother 14 short months later when I was 13 forever altered my Life, and it was the desire to understand Life and Loss and thus Healing, that later, under very unexpected circumstances, ushered me into the mystery of Energy Healing, our own Human capabilities and the hidden significance each has always had in our Lives.
I’m sure you wouldn’t say it’s been obstacle free, but so far would you say the journey has been a fairly smooth road?
The uncertainty caused by the deaths of loved ones created many roadblocks to understanding the significance of our own Lives. When as a young person, death changed my world forever, I had to uncover a strength within myself that I did not know was available. At times we struggle with self-doubt, uncertainty, and fear of the unknown, but when you give yourself the time and the space to discover all that is supporting Life, then entire worlds open within you and around you.
As an artist, there is the challenge of creating something from nothing in the hope of being able to capture and, if possible, visually articulate something can be a daunting task. Do it anyway – it is very freeing.
As an author, being willing to sit to write in a way that might bring the reading into a greater depth of understanding of Life and our place in it can be a struggle. The ability to find the words that will illuminate the Mind, broaden a formerly narrow belief, awaken the Body, and free the Spirit is also not a struggle but a joy. Do it anyway. It is illuminating.
As a Healer, helping others to understand and more importantly, FEEL what healing is, is not a struggle but a privilege.
Thanks – so, what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I specialize in Energy Healing and Intuitive Readings. This includes helping others learn how the Body, Emotions, and Mind can heal and how to use our Senses to more directly engage with the Living World. I have been teaching Energy Healing, specifically Sacred Geometry & Energy Medicine, since 2002. This is both an art and a creative process.
I am also a writer and artist, having authored two books, with another completed for which I am seeking a publisher and as a painter. For many years I was known as a fine-art calligrapher, with published works and exhibitions of my work, as well as commercial applications. (I am the lettering artist that did the lettering for Roush Racing, Engineering, etc.) I designed for greeting card companies and created many logos and graphic designs.
In the last 26 years, I have been a speaker, radio host, podcast host, television show guest, radio guest, educator, with each endeavor focused on leaning how to be better Human Beings so that we can finally learn how to Live well so that we can contribute to Life.
Since the beginning of 2023, I have begun painting Plants and Animals, combining words with visual images of some of the magnificent creatures that share this Life with us – that share this Planet with us – and without which we could not survive. The study of other Living Beings has deepened my appreciation of what it means to have this Lifetime on this incredibly beautiful Earth and to make a difference where I am able to make this world a bit better when I go.
Alright, so to wrap up, is there anything else you’d like to share with us?
I look forward to opportunities to speak, collaborate, educate, and learn how we can begin to solve the countless problems we see. I plan to contribute my time and abilities for as long as I am able while I am Living. I recognize that our world needs all of us to collaborate in meaningful ways so that we can begin to unravel and solve the problems that Humanity alone has created.
