Meet Diana D’ Moussa

Today we’d like to introduce you to Diana D’ Moussa.

Hi Diana, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
My name is Diana Suárez , many people know me as  Diana D’Moussa, I’m 27 years old, I’m from Venezuela but I currently live in Michigan, United States.

I’m an athlete, a certified boxing coach, and personal trainer by the IFBB, I studied social communication at university, I worked on the radio for 6 years where I was the producer and host of my own program on the two best radio circuits in my country. I stopped working on the radio because I was forbidden to not tell the true about the events that were happening in my country.
I currently work as an athlete and personal trainer , model and content creator for social media.
I share my life a lot on social media, what I do during the day, the campaigns I do with the brands I collaborate with, my trips, my training sessions, etc. Every day I have to train and record my workouts to share them on my social media, train my clients , receive products that the brands send me, create the content for them and go out to the photoshoot, this is a normal day for me.
I’m currently working on my website where I will share my personal training program that I have been working on, meal plans, tips, recipes, and much more for those who want to train with me.
Part of who I want to become is a person who can inspire others, it’s one of my goals, to inspire others to be the best version of themselves. I feel very proud of what I have become and what I have achieved so far.

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, it has not been an easy road, and I believe that the most difficult obstacle has been the situation in my country, this situation that we have been experiencing for more than a decade and that has hit us young people the hardest and having to emigrate and leaving our families and friends in order to get ahead. It’s very hard, very painful.

My journey in fitness has had many bumps , when i started 4 years ago , i was only 2 weeks away from reaching my goal and i was victim of an accident where i could not walk for months , i had to go to therapy , i had burns , and the physiotherapist told me that I was about to not be able to train again, but thank God the therapy was effective and I am 100%, it took me a long time to be back, then I focused on starting again and when I was 1 month And half of my goal came the pandemic, the gyms closed, then I had COVID and it was difficult for me to return, then I started again and had an injury that did not allow me to train for 8 months, now I am back again , I have continued to deal with this injury but nothing stops me now.

What was your favorite childhood memory?
I think it would be the road trips with my family and the pranks I did to my sister and with her, I don’t know what my life would be without her.
