A Meeting of Minds and Hearts!
Sushma Shenoy and Jassi Kohli’s story begins with a fortuitous meeting through their husbands, who were friends. This connection quickly blossomed into a strong friendship. With Sushma’s extensive background in retail and her unwavering passion for healthy eating and fitness, combined with Jassi’s expertise in marketing and advocacy for organic living, they formed an unbeatable team.
Sushma, married to Sandeep for 23 years, has two children, Tanishka and Tanay. The Shenoy family is well-known and respected in the community. It was Tanishka’s introduction to Clean Juice that ignited Sushma’s interest in the brand. She was drawn to its mission and values, which resonated with her own beliefs about health and nutrition.
Jassi and Aazath are celebrating their ten years of marriage this year and have a baby on the way next spring. Her deep ties to the Grand Rapids community, along with her passion for clean, organic food, make her the perfect complement to Sushma.

Together, Sushma and Jassi have not only formed a strong personal bond but have also become active members of numerous local organizations, including the Grand Rapids Chamber of Commerce, Fit4Mom, and Women in Leadership communities. As first time entrepreneurs it was hard to navigate and understanding the building and food permits. Too many hoops to jump through before we could open after multiple delays.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Both Sushma and Jassi have full time jobs in addition to running this business. Jassi works at Amway HQ in Global Marketing and Sushma works at Meijer HQ in Digital space. Juggling work, motherhood and business has been a lot but definitely fulfilling.

Is there a quality that you most attribute to your success?
Sushma’s attention to details and cautious nature keeps our business in check while Jassi’s creativity and risk taking ability allows us to be a ying to our yang.
