Meet Cindy Everts

Today we’d like to introduce you to Cindy Everts.  

Cindy, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I purchased Cindy Lou’s Sweet Creations in Oct. of 2017(formerly Carolyn’ s Cakes)… Thru the years of working, I have always enjoyed baking and making goodies, and have 30 years plus experience in cake decorating… Always wanting my own business, this seemed a perfect match. We have kept the shop, for the most part, the same but added new touches. We offer cookies, bars, cakes, cupcakes chocolate candies, cheesecakes, caramel corn, and many other treats. We keep a variety on hand, or if you prefer to make sure you get your favorite- it is best to order ahead of time. We also have a retail line for the DIY customers to decorate their own cakes or make their own chocolate goodies. 

Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not, what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Transition was a smooth one; the experience I had with the products helped. Covid was a challenging time, we made it with our customers’ commitment!!! 

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar, what can you tell them about what you do?
During the Christmas season, our cut-out cookies are a huge hit. We sell up to 15,000 decorated cutouts!!! We are also known for the delicious caramel corn we make and sell.

We take one day at a time and pray for the very best outcome each day.
