Today we’d like to introduce you to Cathy Boaz.
Hi Cathy, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstories.
I started my business in October 2014. I opened it to help people on their spiritual path. We sell items to help them along the way like crystals, sage, incenses, oracle cards, tarot cards, dreamcatchers, salt lamps, teas, jewelry, and so much more.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
For the most part, it’s been great only two really hard struggles and those were just like everybody else the shutdown and the economy. I have been very blessed with my customers. We have a beautiful community that supports our small businesses and they made sure that I wasn’t going anywhere. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for each and every one of them.
We’ve been impressed with Kokopelli’s Korner LLC, but for folks who might not be as familiar, what can you share with them about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I think the thing that separates us from other spiritual shop it’s we are in the business of helping people with their journey. We all are very passionate and loving people and only want the very best for those that come to us. Yes, we have items to sell and yes, we need to sell them in order for us to be here but, that is not why we are here we are here to open up and help people with their awakening and connection with the creator.
What’s next?
Well, we just moved across the street and down the road a bit from our old location. We are still in downtown Howell on Grand River. My big goal is to buy a big piece of land and put my store on it and have a sanctuary on the grounds for people to come and be at peace and relax when the world is getting too heavy for them.
