Meet Bobby Dimovski of 4MJ Social

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bobby Dimovski.

Hi Bobby, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
What’s crazy is that this business was never supposed to look like this. I had a really great corporate career and was working on entering a leadership role. Some opportunities presented themselves to help a few of my clients in that job grow through social media and I figured it would be a great side hustle. My wife and I just had our first daughter and I saw a great opportunity for some extra income for diaper money and college funds.

Over the next few years, I started to build up referrals and take my business more seriously. There were a ton of ups and downs and I fell on my face multiple times. Through those failures though I was able to build some structure and I developed a real vision for where I thought my business could go. Then I fell on my face again…

This is when I really started to focus on listening to my clients. Really actively listening to their problems. Exploring them in a deeper, more empathetic, and compassionate manner. Once I could really identify the problems my clients were facing, we were able to use our tools and talent to create solutions for them. THAT is when things finally clicked. We became more than a marketing agency. We were problem solvers. We were time savers. We helped create a better work/life balance. Our marketing became more than just driving revenue…it became a true partnership beyond anything I could have imagined.

Now we are 8 years in with over 300 clients served and a strong and talented team – and we are only continuing to build from here!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has definitely NOT been a smooth one! Between financing, hiring, firing, software changes, keeping clients happy, and more, this business has definitely had its ups and downs.

The biggest challenge I would say though is the industry itself. 4MJ Social started as strictly a social media marketing agency. We were essentially creating content, posting, and managing social media accounts on our client’s behalf. It was simple enough in concept, but that was also in 2014. Social media has changed dramatically since that point. The entire digital world has changed since then.

We’ve had to stay ahead of the marketing trends and implement quickly to keep our clients on top. We went from just social media to almost all things digital – SEO, websites, reputation management, and more miscellaneous services than I’d like to count. By the time we’re done implementing these new offerings, it’s back to gauging the market and trying to figure out the next place to focus. It definitely has not been easy but I can never say it’s boring either!

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your business?
4MJ Social is in the business of building digital brands. We provide turn-key solutions to web design, SEO, social media, reputation management, content marketing, and more. Over the years we have really leaned into the healthcare niche and that is the focus of our business moving forward. We’ve worked with hundreds of doctors, dentists, physical therapy clinics, as well as other service-based businesses.

The real differentiator for us is our ability to negotiate cost with our partners and implement software solutions for our clients. It allows us to keep our overhead low, free up our time, and this all translates directly to the cost for our clients. For the services we provide we are able to provide premium solutions below industry-standard costs – all with a lean team that truly connects with our clients.

I am most proud of the evolution of our brand and offerings. We haven’t evolved out of ego or a focus on revenue. We’ve been able to take a step back, evaluate all we do, listen to our clients, consult with our entire team and put together strategic programs that make sense and are effective and efficient. From there, growth has been a byproduct of creating the best possible solutions. We’re continuing to do so as we start to roll out our new programs and packages starting in mid-2022.
