Meet Bill Lewinski of Blue Level Builders, LLC

Today we’d like to introduce you to Bill Lewinski.

Hi Bill, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
For over 20 years, I led large retail facilities and construction teams in corporate America, working on both sides of the table as the customer and the contractor. In February 2024, God had a different plan for my life, and I was unexpectedly downsized. That moment of uncertainty became a moment of purpose. Fast forward to May 2024, I stepped out in faith and launched Blue Level Builders—built on providing exceptional customer experience, communicate with honesty, and a commitment to doing things the right way by being a partner and help people make their house a home.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
The road has not always been smooth. Owning a business comes with challenges and responsibility that can’t be passed on to anyone else. Through faith, seeking wisdom from others, and trusting that God will provide, I have been able to stay the course — always with food on the table and the bills paid.

As you know, we’re big fans of Blue Level Builders, LLC. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about the brand?
Blue Level Builders is a family-focused interior remodeling company serving the West Michigan area. We believe in being the partner who helps turn your house into a home.

Through construction, we deliver exceptional customer service by honoring our commitments and communicating proactively. Simple, daily communication with homeowners—covering work completed, plans for tomorrow, and any decisions that need to be made—ensures everyone stays aligned throughout the project.

While we wish every project went exactly as planned, construction doesn’t always work that way. When challenges arise, homeowners want clear communication, a calm presence, and a well-thought-out plan. That’s the role we proudly take on as your construction partner.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Help customer turn their house into their home. As my family has grown into 7 kids, my house has gone through many changes over the years. Some big and some small. I love to meet people, understand their needs and be part of people’s family growth and home remodeling to service their family for years to come.
