Today, we’d like to introduce you to Aaron Gipson.
Hi Aaron, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I’ve always been a creative person.
Growing up, I loved to design things, create things, build, and even try to start businesses! I got started with clothes because I found that designing clothes was extremely fun for me! One day, I was drawing different logos and ended up coming up with the iconic crown logo my brand uses today.
I began putting it on shirts, and from there, the brand was born. Eventually, I found that I truly enjoyed not only designing graphics for the clothes but also seeing what kind of crazy functional designs I could come up with!
Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
The road has been far from smooth. Many struggles stem from timing, finances, and imposter syndrome.
I’m often stuck between needing more time for my business, which would mean I would have to quit my main job, and also needing more money to run my business, which I need my main job for! At this point, it seems like a constant cycle that’s hard to escape.
I appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
What sets me apart is that my brand features functional designs and not just cool graphics and fabrics.
Not all of my products, but a few have 2 in 1 features and multiple ways to wear. This is where I specialize and what I want my brand to be known for! The brand whose clothes stand out through design AND functionality.
How can people work with you, collaborate with you, or support you?
I love working with people! I think there could be potential collaboration with any kind of company! Like I stated before, I love being creative.
Even working with a company that has nothing to do with clothing would be a fun opportunity to come up with something new and never-before-seen! Support for my brand can come from purchasing the products or even helping share my story or telling people about the business!
