Each luxurious gloss is handcrafted using our proprietary blend of oils, delivering a game-changing formula that’s incredibly lightweight, absolutely non-sticky, deeply moisturizing, and silky smooth on application.
But Bgirly is more than beautiful products – we’re a movement. As a proud Black-owned business, we’re dedicated to empowering local communities, supporting small businesses, creating meaningful partnerships, fostering economic growth, and building a network of strong, confident individuals. To us, “girly” isn’t just a word – it’s a statement of power. It means embracing your unique beauty, standing in your confidence, and celebrating what makes you extraordinary.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The entrepreneurial journey has definitely had its share of challenges. Like many small business owners, one of the biggest hurdles has been securing and managing funding, especially during periods when sales fluctuate month to month. Finding the capital to grow while maintaining operations can be particularly challenging without consistent revenue streams.
Another significant challenge has been the delicate balancing act of running a business while maintaining a full-time job. Managing time effectively between these two demanding roles requires constant attention and often means making difficult choices about where to focus energy and resources.
Additionally, the ongoing process of identifying and developing new sales channels has been both challenging and crucial for growth. While we’ve had success with certain channels, expanding our reach and discovering new opportunities for revenue requires continuous effort and strategic thinking.
These challenges, while difficult, have been valuable learning experiences that have helped shape both our business approach and our resilience as a company. They’ve taught us the importance of adaptability, strategic planning, and maintaining focus on our core mission despite obstacles.

At Bgirly, we specialize in creating handcrafted, vegan lip products that we lovingly call “Lipsauce.” What truly sets us apart is our unique position as a Black-owned, family-run business where every product is carefully handcrafted with premium vegan ingredients. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain exceptional quality control and ensure each product meets our high standards.
As a CEO, my passion for travel and business has significantly influenced our brand’s direction. My experiences, particularly in places like Seoul, South Korea, have inspired our product development and business approach. This global perspective, combined with an endless curiosity about beauty and skincare, has helped us create products that blend international beauty influences with local craftsmanship.
What I’m most proud of is how we’ve maintained our commitment to quality and authenticity while growing our brand. Each product we create is a reflection of our family’s dedication to excellence and our belief in empowering individuals through beauty. The fact that we personally oversee every aspect of production, from formula development to the final product, ensures that our customers receive nothing but the best.
