Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Travel has always been a big part of our lives. As a kid, I loved exploring new places; my husband shared that passion also when he was young. When the pandemic hit, we started taking small weekend getaways to escape the routine and reconnect with adventure. What began as a fun way to explore quickly became bigger when we landed our first tourism board partnership with Visit Escanaba. That experience sparked our love for discovering small towns and hidden gems, and we knew we wanted to keep sharing these unique places with others.
Since then, we’ve been fortunate to work with several tourism boards, each experience teaching us something new and pushing us to grow as creators. While we’re still learning and evolving, we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunities we’ve had and the fantastic places we’ve been able to showcase. For us, it’s all about helping people find those unique, unexpected spots that make travel memorable.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Being a creator is never easy! You try to keep your authenticity, but sometimes you get swollen trying to please the algorithm. The hardest part is wearing multiple hats! From being the creator to the marketer, you push yourself out there, and sometimes those are trials and errors. As we grew, we hired a few new people to help scale and help us have a better workflow
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I Stella work at a university as an admin assistant and my husband is an I.T engineer.
