Today we’d like to introduce you to Nathan Walton.
Hi nathan, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Starting out in Grand Rapids I was a musician right out of High School. Life happens and I ended up being a beer brewer for about 6 years. Then shortly after covid went back to being a full time musician and music teacher.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Well 2020 was hard for everyone. Especially creatives and service workers.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I’ve been blessed to share stages with the best musicians around. On American Idol I met Lionel Richie, Luke Bryan, Katy Perry. When I can home home from the high of touring I put The Remedy together and they have been my best friends ever since. We’ve released 3 records, two which won listeners Choice awards and toured to SXSW a few years in a row. I’m proud of the band and what we have accomplished in a few short years. And the great part is we have so much more to put out.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
Happiness, peace, and giving.
