Life & Work with Micah Super of Fredericksburg

Today we’d like to introduce you to Micah Super.

Hi Micah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I started my music journey back in 2018. Since then, I have worked alongside Cashmere Brown, Don Altae, and G Unit Capo. Benzino, Cordae, Joe Trufant, and Voyage Baltimore have reviewed my music. I’ve also had multiple singles played on HB Radio and other radio stations.

We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
As anything in life you’re going to experience a lot of ups and downs. From 2019 to 2023, I was sleeping in and out of my car while doing music. I was never fully accepted from my family. Needed a change, so I moved away. I’m still figuring out things and had to put my music on hold for a while, but this year I have some big plans for the comeback.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
If I had to describe my work, I’m an artist. I go to multiple recording studios. I record my vocals, get them mixed and mastered. Once the song is complete, my goal is to show everyone as much as I can of my music. That includes marketing on socials, doing shows, being played on radio stations, reaching out to blogs, etc. As I’ve been using this formula over the years, it’s only helped me grow much more as an artist.

Risk taking is a topic that people have widely differing views on – we’d love to hear your thoughts.
I see myself as a risk-taker. After high school, instead of college, I decided to take a gap year around the world. It opened my eyes to many things and helped me prepare for music. I came back, decided to chase my dream, and never looked back.
