Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Life is a journey. Listen to your calling and your passion. When it comes to a career, how you spend your day making $, be sure you are in your happy place, where you lose track of time, and are doing what you love. I did what I love, and 40 years later, still enjoy it.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Life is never completely smooth. There are ups and downs with everything, however, good always comes out of bad, when you keep your head up, and never give up, you learn, grow, and succeed.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I am a hairstylist and wellness consultant. I believe in consistency, honesty, integrity, and treating everyone with respect. I am proud of being a good listener. You learn the most when you listen. What sets me apart is that I truly love myself, hopefully not in a selfish way, I believe we are all unique and made in God’s image. Accepting who you are and not comparing or trying to be anyone else is truly liberating.

Networking and finding a mentor can have such a positive impact on one’s life and career. Any advice?
Always look people in the eye. Start conversations wherever life takes you, and ask questions….you just never know who you might meet, or where your path might lead you. Be open!
