My name is Kennedy Corlzer-Lowe but my stage name is The Monarch and I am the Michael Jackson of Michigan and metro Detroit I st a rted becoming the Monarch at Gigis Gay Bar in 2022 in detroit on there open stage competition called the War on Werq Wednesdays I competed and loss the first competition but then did it again and won the 2nd competition in November of that year ever since then I have I have grown tremendously and still growing to this day I have met of alot entertainers and drag personas of genres from prides to now private shows I’ve been all over Michigan and ive performed in Ohio and Indiana I have great drag family and friends as well and of course my family so far ive been performing as MJ for 4 years now and recently won my first pagaent and is now a current title holder and Im very proud of myself and I love how make people happy and nostalgic of MJ from happy stories to sad stories by putting a smile on there face and that is why I do what I do
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
At first yes but also no as well dealing with people who wants to see you fail and come up with lies to try to diminish your reputation but I have overcome such obstacles and its made me stronger I’ve also had quite alot of injuries to
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I am a Michael Jackson Impersonator of Michigan what im proud of is keeping MJs legacy alive but also bringing smiles and nostalgia to the people i meet rather its in the audience or some random person hearing there stories brings a smile to my face
What sets me apart is that im not always booked for bars and clubs I’m booked for other things as well a boat cruise or private shows

By having passion onstage and giving it there all to collaborate with me is to keep up with me.im quite fast on stage when it comes to dancing but also hearing great ideas that can be put together
