Hi Jeremiah, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I Started this all many years ago with 15+ years as a professional driver and then moved into youth outreach for almost a decade. The move to start my own driving school made sense by merging the two main skills I have together.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
It was a long process with some speed bumps along the way but I had a lot of fantastic resources and guidance from some other people in the industry. The hardest part of opening a driving school is all of the unknown things that you find out after you put a lot of time and finances into the process with no guarantees.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I own and operate Drive With Integrity Driver Education. I train Teenagers and adults how to drive. I am known for my over the top personality and fun learning environment in class and behind the wheel. I am very proud of the ability I have to make great connections with our youth in the surrounding area and there is never a drive with students where we do not run into previous students that wave, yell, or chase us down to show us their car or tell us about the experiences they have had since they have been driving.
Can you share something surprising about yourself?
I am a certified Scuba diver, and I own 1 square foot of property in Scotland only so I can sign documents with “Lord Shipton” if I choose to. Because why not?
