Life & Work with Felicia “Fe” Bryant

Today we’d like to introduce you to Felicia “Fe” Bryant

Hi Fe, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
Back in 2016, I decided to binge watch the old Batman Animated series. As I watched that, I thought “I want to be Joker” and decided to look up joker inspired makeup looks. I stumbled upon MadeYewLook on YouTube. Ever since then, I’ve been creating beauty and cosplay content.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
On the beauty side, I struggled being marketable to the everyday person. As I explored makeup And different techniques, I fell in love with bold and colorful looks. At the time “creative makeup” wasn’t sought after unless you were working a photoshoot or something. I called some friends and family to practice “regular” makeup on, started posting that and began to get traction. After this, I began working with photographers and models to be able to do those more extravagant looks.

As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I am a beauty and cosplay content creator. I specialize in sfx and body paint. Recently, I had a Cleveland Brown cosplay go viral but prior to that, my version of Heath Ledger’s Joker is my most known cosplay.

My greatest accomplishment so far would be participating as a guest for a panel at MotorCity Comic Con.

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
Being creative makes me happy. Being able to take something from an idea to an actual thing is so fulfilling. Sometimes we think so much about making things perfect, we miss the opportunity to make something cool or innovative.
