Today we’d like to introduce you to Davis Caruso

Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
Ever unfolding. Doing my darnest to accept who I am and stay curious with regard to who I’ll become… I prefer to be known as a human being with empathy and a deep desire to live in harmony with nature, animals and other folks like me, silencing their farts in public out of 49% politeness and 51% embarrassment. I love more than anything to make music and move my body to that music. The experience is amplified when the creative process is shared with other passionate and loving collaborators. I know my gifts and I have every intention to share them while I can. I hope to inspire others to create consciously and to know that one’s joy and fulfillment need not come at the expense of anyone elses.

I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
What many people call reality. When anyone fully embraces their creativity, it is likely that people around them will insist on reminding them of “reality”. Discouraging ideas that seem out of reach to those who have surrendered their imaginations. My obstacles are the same things as my Lilly pads… People. It is our divine work to find the human chess pieces that match our unique energetic hue and build something. Once that is clear the obstacles are less like mountains and more like mole hills.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Currently serving primarily as a music maker in a variety of ways i.e writing, producing, audio engineering, playing instruments, etc. I absolutely love it. There is no where else I’d rather be than sitting at a piano or with a guitar in my lap curious to express myself in the moment. I am slowly getting more bold, entering public spaces with my creative projects for sharing while continuing to put lots of energy into a growing catalog of music which is available for listening, licensing and consumption.

Alright so before we go can you talk to us a bit about how people can work with you, collaborate with you or support you?
I am lucky to be supported by many skilled collaborators that inspire me to better my craft every day. I would hope that they would say the same about me. Collaboration is the special sauce to life.
