Today we’d like to introduce you to Crystal Woods and Angela Bartley. 

Hi Crystal and Angela, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Perfect Picnic Co. is co-owned by myself Crystal and my business partner Angela. Angela and I met as colleagues for a former employer, as time went on, we forged a friendship which kept us in contact as the years went on. We both share a passion for home decor and Interior Design. I had the idea to start a Picnic company and I sat on it for a while because I couldn’t quite navigate all the moving parts alone. I told Angela my idea and asked her if she would consider a partnership- she Agreed, and we joined forces and the rest was history! 

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
As a team, we work pretty well together! We are both new to running a full-fledged small business, so dealing with the ins and outs of how we run our business, dealing with our clients, and maintaining a social media presence has presented us both with teachable moments! I can say one of the biggest hurdles has been growing our business from the ground up as it relates to our social media presence. We have, however, been able to maintain a professional and stellar report with our clients and that’s the main focus for us! 

Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
We are a Luxury Picnic business. We specialize in outdoor/indoor picnics and tablescapes. Our picnics are curated to suite any occasion and style from romantic to group celebrations. What sets us apart from others would be our customized picnic experiences, no one picnic is the same! 

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
With my our background in customer service we feel like meeting the customers’ need is our most important attribute.
